What I Love About September!

September greetings friends, collectors and lovers of art!  There’s so many things to love about September,  but I have to say that the Indie Craft Parade tops my list!!

Like it was yesterday, I still reminisce the day that ICP founders, Libby Ramos and Erin Godbey shared their ideas and business plan for the juried art market at Coffee to a Tea.  With a twinkle in their eyes and enough vision, talent and work ethic to take on the world, the two of them created and launched Indie Craft Parade.  Thanks to online marketplaces like Etsy, the public is fascinated by the personal nature of handcrafted products, now, more than ever.  Libby and Erin spotted the trend and brought together the best artists in the Southeast and with an event that encourages interaction between the community and local independent artists.  There is nothing like it!

Obsessed of course with the growing art and craft revolution, I am more eager than ever to see what this year’s ICP brings. Since lucky me is a juror, I’ve already had a sneak preview of the genius and creativity which lies all around us in the Greenville area.
