Decemberโs Main Gallery exhibition is a visual feast and an art loverโs gifting goldmine.
โIn The Company Ofโ is a two-person exhibition of work by Western North Carolina artists, Beth Elliott and Rachael Van Dyke, will launch online and in the gallery at 10am (EST) on Tuesday, December 3rd with an artist reception on Friday, December 6 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
The exhibition pays homage to the beauty of gathering to enjoy food and friendship during the holiday season. The artists playfully consider how relationships are formed and revolve around the time we spend interacting with table settings and the utilitarian objects that suggest a shared meal.
Beth Elliottโs vessel forms outline internal stories and hidden landscapes through surface design that suggests a deeper representational narrative.
Rachael Van Dykeโs bold, colorful still lifes and quirky, narrative portraits speak to the human need for companionship, belonging and natural beauty. A range of sizes and price points make the artwork accessible and giftable, whether youโre looking for a little something to say thanks or take-your-breath-away.
