a special capsule collection curated by Natalie Papier
For our latest capsule collection, we asked designer, author and TV personality, Natalie Papier of Home Ec Op to help us out.
See You at Home is a collection of works from the gallery that contain the essence of "home" in Natalie's mind. She picked works that are rooted in nostalgia, joy and the simplicity of knowing she would want to see it in her space daily.
As a transplant to the warm and sunny South from cold and windy Chicago, Natalie lives outside almost year round. She notes that while working, she often uses her "outside office", which is really just an outdoor table with an umbrella by the pool. With this being the case, Natalie was drawn to works of art with bold and bright color or with outdoor narratives.
Take Daniel Klewer's, Morning Mango, for example. This particular piece reminds Natalie of a bold golden sun and the warmth it brings. She also commented that Beth Meadow's, Morning Ritual (a fresh start), makes her think of days by the pool with family and friends and how each element in the piece tells of one incredible day.
Explore and collect Natalie's picks below and be sure to stop into the gallery to check out her beautifully designed collection in person. If you would like to meet this crazy talented designer in person, she plans to celebrate alongside us for our 19th anniversary on August 1st from 6-8pm. If you have her book, Start With Art, she would love to sign it for you that night!
